| Report Content as Inappropriate ♦ ♦ Windows API error 87: The parameter is incorrect Hello, I've just installed MikTex http://miktex.10937.n7.nabble.com/Windows-API-error-87-The-parameter-is-incorrect-td9224.html 2.9. I am trying to typeset a file with many package http://www.prowaznik.pl/2011/03/miktex-i-windows-api-error-87.html dependencies. In the past, MiKTeX would simply prompt me to download any required packages and they would install without issue. In this new install of MiKTeX, the package installations fail with error: *"Unfortunately, the package colortbl could not be installed. Please check the log file:* *C:/Users/USERNAME/AppData/Local/MiKTeX/2.9/miktex/log/miktex-pdftex.log"* The windows api log file contains the line: *"FATAL miktex-pdftex - Windows API error 87: The parameter is incorrect."* This appears to be happening because TeXworks is open. If I close TeXworks and use MiKTeX package manager, I can install whichever packages I like. However, it is very frustrating to constantly open and close TeXworks so that I can install dependencies windows api error one at a time. Does anyone know the solution to this issue? jest bardzo proste: należy zamknąć wcześniej procesy LaTeX-a, które blokują instalację pakietów, np. pdflatex.exe - po paru nieudanych próbach instalacji można zobaczyć taki rezultat w menedżerze zadań: Mam nadzieję, że ta informacja zaoszczędzi komuś trochę czasu.
