(Server Manager > Features > Add Feature > Locate and install .Net). 2. Follow the instructions, when finished run Windows Update to get the latest .Net service pack installed, then reboot. 3. Post reboot, it should install without error. Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now Hi all, I've run into a bit of a strange problem recently with Microsoft Office 2007 on Windows Server 2008 R2. One day Outlook started giving me errors that the autocorrect file MS01033.acl file was corrupt. Then when I would close Outlook it would say that it couldn't save or create the file NormalEmail.dotm. It also won't let me create a signature to use on emails. Similarly when using word, if I just double click on a file to open it, I get an error message saying that the command could not be passed, though Word opens, it just doesn't open the file. If I go to Office Button -> Open I can open, edit, and save files just fine. And when word closes it says it can't create or save the file Normal.dotm. This has me very puzzled as it only seems to be affecting me and no others on the domain. I'm just looking for some guidance or a finger pointing in the right direction. Thanks so much! We were in the stone age before and we're just catching up lol. 0 Anaheim OP LuAnn1957 Jul 6, 2011 at 7:45 UTC You could also try running the Microsoft Office Diagnostics. This is found when
