Microsoft dropped update support a long time ago, which is fine. But if I were to re-install from CD-ROM, would I still be able to get fixes from MS? Or is there a repository of fixes that I should know about? Ideally I'd like a process that is not network connected and does not rely on Microsoft servers - one day they will pull the plug.
