Kevin W. I have been using Dreamweaver CS4 for some time now, but I just opened the program and got that error. If you are experiencing this error it's likely that your layout files were corrupted. I have been getting this xml parsing fatal error: stating that the file Designer.xml could not be read. Here is https://forums.adobe.com/thread/938704 the easy fix: From any explorer window or your control panel. Click Tools>Folder Options. Click the View Tab. Click ‘Show hidden files and folders'. Depending on your OS navigate to C::/….Application Data/Adobe/Dreamweaver/en_us/Configuration/Workspace. Create a new folder and move all the http://www.kevinw.me/xml-parsing-fatal-error-invalid-document-structure/ files in that directory into this new folder. Restart Dreamweaver and you should be back in business. Please let me know if this helped anyone! Please refer to the notes:917950: SAP NetWeaver 2004s: Setting Up BEx? Web (Overview) 888687: BEx Web Java: Analysis of communication/logon problems (Details) Some functions in WAD requires Java Stack (validation is one of these functions). Probably you also get error messages on loading and saving of Web Templates.Just test if your portal connection is working:1. Goto ABAP Program RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN_70 (Using transaction SE38)2. Open any template (you can use ANALYSIS_PATTERN)3. Search in the buttons for "Runtime Format Preview" and press it.-> If you get empty notepad, your connection ABAP-Java is broken.More information you can find it the SAP notes (see above)Regards, KarolBI Development Alert Moderator Like (0) Re: Error on Bex Web App Designer - XML Validation Antony s Sep 13, 2006 4:10 PM (in response to Karol Kalisz) Currently Being Moderated Dear Karol,I did this procedure and it is working very good.
