Sorry. I should have read the obvious sticky. I am sure the mods will take care of it. Anyways here is the post. I am pretty sure that others have had a 403 error but mine seems different. Which is why I am posting a new thread. Lately I have not been able to access Internet Explorer. Included in this is Yahoo messenger. ( I think they http://discussions.virtualdr.com/showthread.php?226155-RESOLVED-403-forbidden are somehow connected?) I can however access Yahoo mail and Firefox with no problems. I had a Comcast(my isp ) tech come to my house to check my Internet connection. They found no problems with my connection and they could not find a reason why IE would not work. I was able to update IE to version 7 through Firefox. Thought that would help..but no go. I even googled this problem but got no sufficient help other then the suggestion to check the box next to "Show friendly HTTP messages" under options- advanced-browsing. Ran a virus check..cleaned out cookies..files..etc. Nothing seems to work. There should be no reason for me to be blocked from using IE. This has me baffled. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Attached is the error I get.
