403 Forbidden Error In Sharepoint 2010
except for me. I am the primary site collection admin for that site. I went to add a few co-workers to the privileges. I created the Web Application as Deafult Website, and the 1 Site Collection I created was for my default site. So http://Site/deafult.aspx I added my co-workers sharepoint 403 forbidden access is denied as Full Control admins of the Web App, and the site collection. Now, none of us cannot get to the /default.aspx site. I get the 403 forbidden error. Even though I am the Primary Admin. I have looked into the event viewer, and I cannot see anything that is logged to show me why this is happening. I can still get into the Sharepoint Control fine. Turns out the SQL service was turned off for some reason (I was gone). Yesterday (Monday) I turned the SharePoint SQL service back on; this caused the SharePoint SQL database to be recovered for some reason. That ran its course, and now no one can access the SharePoint website. When someone tries to access the site, they simply get a "403 FORBIDDEN". No prompt for logging in, no nothing. I've http://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/151286/sharepoint-foundation-2013-403-forbidden been doing research but have not found anything similar, just the 403 error appearing randomly, when accessing photos, or accessing custom applications. Some other side notes, the "SQL Server Agent (SHAREPOINT)" is not started in Sql Server Configuration Manager. Also, the SharePoint application pool account only has "Connect" permissions granted for the SharePoint SQL Database. Plus, Central Administration is accessable for the admin. I've tried restarting the IIS site, re-running the SharePoint 2013 Products Configuration program, and checked the permissions for the site's bin folder. UPDATE: Here is a link that contains a piece of the SP log file: http://jpst.it/ALf4 One interesting finding in the log: Access to this document has been blocked because the SPSite is ReadLocked or set to No Access. sharepoint-foundation error 403 share|improve this question edited Aug 5 '15 at 19:46 Robert Lindgren♦ 19.2k62952 asked Aug 4 '15 at 14:19 salomon1996 85 can you share the sharepoint error log details as well as event logs –kesava Aug 4 '15 at 20:10 Updated original post. So check the user permission in Active Directory of the windows server. If user is not in active directory than share point is not allowing user to enter in site.I can say there some thing fussy between Active directory and share point web application authentication local server group. 2) Check Local server group in IIS.
