Check the permissions of your DocumentRoot. With the default configuration this would be /srv/www/htdocs/: Code: ls -la /srv/www/htdocs/ Apache runs as user "wwwrun:www", so that user has to be able to access those files. The server send you "Error 403", that's different between of the Link error 404; this link error means the client requests the path link / address is correct but the indicate page's owner is forbidden his/her page browse to the request's client (that you) browser! It should get resolved. Por vacaciones lo dejé instalado, pero no configurado, así que cuando volví me encontré un error 403: Acceso prohibido. Pensé que era por motivo de permisos, el firewall o algo por el estilo. Cambié permisos y nada. Así que me puse a estudiar el httpd.conf, el cual está dividido en varios archivos, así que se encontrarán muchos includes. Sin más rodeos, lo primero que tienen que verificar es la existencia del archivo "index.html" en "/srv/www/htdocs". En mi caso es lo que faltaba, así que la solución más fácil fue hacer lo siguiente (como root): touch /srv/www/htdocs/index.html
