With all http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/403-forbidden-fix-please.1816390/ the other browsers I get the page displayed without problems. I have searched the web for a solution but I could not find any solution. Can anyone write me how I can troubleshoot this issue? Things I have already checked : I have checked the certificate that is used. It is the same certificate with Chrome (working) and with safari (not working) A very curious behaviour : When I have Fiddler Tool running and capturing while I am trying to connect to the http://stackoverflow.com/questions/26912082/safari-https-403-forbidden-access-denied page, the page is displayed without problems. As soon as I deactivate the capturing and try navigating to the page again, I get again 403 Forbidden Access. I would appreciate any suggestions. What is the URL? Is it on your Intranet? When it is working, do you see HTTP/401 responses in Fiddler before a final HTTP/200? share|improve this answer answered Nov 14 '14 at 21:12 EricLaw 42.9k492137 I have already seen that link you have sent. Unfortunately, I didnt see anything that could help my situation. The URL is an internal URL. It wont bring anything if I write it here. And about the 401 Responses : Fiddler doesnt show any 401 Responses (with google chrome). It directly shows http/200 –EngelbertCoder Nov 17 '14 at 13:38 What exactly does I have checked the certificate that is used. m

In other words: "Go away and don't come back here." How To Fix the 403 Forbidden Error Check for URL errors and make sure you're specifying an actual web page file name and extension, not just a directory. Most websites are configured to disallow directory browsing so a 403 Forbidden message when trying to display a folder instead of a specific page is normal and expected. Important: This is, by far, the most common reason for a web site to return the 403 Forbidden error. Be sure you fully explore this possibility before investing time in the troubleshooting below. Tip: If you operate the website in question, and you want to prevent 403 errors in these cases, enable directory browsing in your web server software. Clear your browser's cache. My usual workflow is to open something like the After Effects > Discussions then hold down the Cmnd key to open threads in a new window. This is now completely broken. The new tab opens but you get this message:If you copy a link from a discussion and paste it in a new browser window or even the current browser window you get the same thing. Even if you open a thread and copy and paste the url for that thread in a new window or tab you get the same error. This is happening on all 3 machines that have upgraded to Safari 8.0.2 but it didn't start on December 14 when I ran the update, it started today. Something changed on the server today, January 5, 2015, that is causing this problem. The problem does not exist on Google Chrome or Firefox.I hope this can be resolved. Safari is my go to browser and I don't want to start using Firefox or Chrome for anything but compatibility testing. If you have Safari try copying and pasting this link to the address bar and see if it works for you.
