New user - HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden & I deleted my sources? 0 Hello, running iOS 6.0.1 on 4S, just installed Cydia last night and have been getting HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden error when I try to install anything. At first the error was 403 forbidden a longer message saying something about paid packages? Now it just says 'HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden'. The stock Cydia repos should be reinstalled via the "More Package Sources" link on the Cydia home page. They will appear at the top, before the block of text. link answered 06 Feb '13, 06:17 kirb ♦ 9.6k●9●8 edited 06 Feb '13, 06:19 Thanks! How do I purchase packages? If it is just because it's under heavy load, will the problem go away in time or will I need to do something to fix it? Also I keep getting logged out of Cydia (I've been logging in through Google), is this problem related? (06 Feb '13, 06:26) myfriendpiegan 0 You can re add them via cydia home/more sources. link answered 06 Feb '13, 06:16 justinred ♦ 51.3k●7●46●17 eJailbreak Developers iPhone Dev Team Saurik MuscleNerd Planetbeing Comex Pod2G P0sixNinja i0n1c iH8Sn0w GeoHot NotCom Jailbreak Guides iPhone Jailbreak Tutorials Jailbreak iPod Touch Jailbreaking Explained Cydia Jailbreak Software Sn0wbreeze Absinthe Blackra1n LimeRa1n JailbreakM Redsn0w Greenpois0n PwnageTool Seas0nPass iPhone Unlock Unlock iPhone Unlock iPhone 3Gs Unlock iPhone 4 Unlock iPhone 4s Ultrasn0w News IOS Wiki Fix Cydia HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found & Cached Failure ErrorBy Ben Johnson last updated June 28, 2014 Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Facebook Share on LinkedIn Yesterday i tried to enable custom animated boot logos on my iPhone 4 by running Redsn0w 0.9.6RC11 over my existing PwnageTool 4.3 jailbreak but unfortunately ended in some serious Cydia errors. In this case i will be using iPhone Explorer to delete some files, however if you have iFile already installed, you can always use it.Connect your iDevice to your PC or Mac and open iPhone Explorer software. Navigate to the following location and delete all files within partial directory.Location: /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/Navigate one directory up and delete all files in lists directory. Make sure not to delete the partial folder otherwise your Cydia will crash.Location: /var/lib/apt/lists/Now navigate to the following location and delete metadata.plist file from cydia directory.Location: /var/lib/cydia/Navigate to the following location and delete all files within sources.list.d directory.Location: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/Thats it!
