Enable the Develop menu at the bottom of that pane. Now from your Safari menu bar click Develop / User Agent / Safari 4.0.5 - Mac.Definitely won't open on Safari 5.0.3 nor Firefox nor Google Chrome. The next time you launch Safari it will default to 5.0.3. Nelmio member Seldaek commented Jul 19, 2014 Not sure what could cause this. Are you using a self-signed certificate perhaps that has not been accepted in chrome? Did you check in the dev tools to see if the preflight OPTIONS request is done 403 forbidden access at all and if yes why it failed? ramzi-arfaoui commented Jul 21, 2014 no, i' m using a COMODO SSL Certificate. After Debugging i found that the $options array value is empty: Array ( [allow_origin] => Array ( ) [allow_credentials] => [allow_headers] => Array ( ) [expose_headers] => Array ( ) [allow_methods] => Array ( ) [max_age] => 0 [hosts] => Array ( ) ) So that the checkOrigin Method will fail. I m using a squid for SSL connection configured in external server. The backed Server is using apache only on port 80. The proxy forward all SSL requests (443) to webserver on port 80. Sometimes you will get error 403 while accessing to the internet using safari browser it is because of the usage of the data with safari and due to the network failure with the connection to the internet. So if you want to solve this problem then you must be connected to the 3G connection so that you will not get the error once again and it is better to re install the safari software in your ipad.
