My web application uses threading. In my web application, I call the webservice and it returns me the response. Then my thread sleeps for 20 minutes and then it again calls webservice, but when i call the webservice second time , it fails. Here is the error and stack trace:- The request failed with HTTP status 403: Forbidden. This is the code: string certPath = @"C:\Documents and Settings\ureyes\Desktop\test.cer"; //This line essentially makes my application accept any server certificate. System.Net.ServicePointManager.CertificatePolicy = new TrustCertificatePolicy(); SessionManager.Service objSessionManager = new SessionManager.Service(); objSessionManager.Credentials = System.Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials; objSessionManager.ClientCertificates.Clear(); objSessionManager.ClientCertificates.Add(X509Certificate.CreateFromCertFile(certPath)); string var2 = objSessionManager.WebService("sdsd", "sdasda"); - This last line is the one that throws the exception. - The "test.cer" certificate is a client certificate generated by a CA server (running Microsoft Certificate Services) and the same certificate works fine for myself when I hit the web service via URL. - I granted "Full Access" to the ASPN

Is this running on XP Pro? The web server is crippled to only accept 1 connection at a time and will throw a 403 if multiple connections are attempted so this often happens if pages are being requested at the same time web services are being hit. VS2005 spawns multiple Cassini web server instances that can help you get around this. Jon "giang08 via DotNetMonster.com"
