What Does 403 Forbidden Mean On Iphone
and everytime I try I get a 403 Forbidden error. I tried to play the video through both firefox and internet explorer. I still get the same error. Does anyone know how to fix this. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1073103?tstart=0 Thanks. sunflower04 Posts: 142Joined: Mon May 16, 2005 11:36 pm WebsiteYIM Top Re: 403 Forbidden Isssue in Quicktime by MrFredPFL » Tue Apr 21, 2009 9:32 am yes. contact the website. either you are a victim of an ip ban (which wouldn't be the case unless you get that error for EVERY page on that site) - or else their permissions are screwed up at their end (far more likely, imo). http://www.slyck.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=514824 either way, it's very unlikely anything you can do can fix it, short of contacting them about the issue.edit: i believe it's also possible to get this in some configurations by blocking cookies from a site, but i won't swear to that. downloader, based on wget and a set of Perl and shell scripts. Recently, it stopped downloading Podcastle episodes, though Escape Pod and various non-Escape-Artists podcasts still download fine. On http://forum.escapeartists.net/index.php?action=printpage;topic=7999.0 investigation, it seems that wget is getting a 403 FORBIDDEN error....I tried to insert http://help.logmein.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/403-Forbidden-Error a few lines from my script's log files, but I'm getiting a "Sorry, you are not allowed to post links" error error from the forum software. There are URLS in the log file but I'm not trying to make them live links with bbcode.Any ideas? I know PodCastle is having sooome kind of error at the moment (though I'm not entirely sure what that error is yet, it's pretty vague at this point from where I'm sitting). I was also able to successfully download the xml using WGET with the -U argument to spoof the user agent string e.g.Code:wget -U firefox $URLthe above command causes WGET to appear to the web server as a version of Mozilla Firefox. However if WGET connects using its default user agent string http error 403 is received. Title: Re: 403 FORBIDDEN error when trying to get Podcastle RSS feed Post by: ALH on August 17, 2014, 05:06:42 AM I too am getting "(403) Forbidden" from both Podcastle and Pseudopod. Escape Pod, Drabblecast, StarShipSofa, and others are fine. I'm using a console agent I compiled from source code found on the Microsoft forum for downloading XML RSS 2.0 podcasts. I verified Pseudopod's main feed URL with the one I'm using. I can't seem to find the main feed for Podcastle to check it

There are 2 Internet connections running simultaneously (a laptop with an active wireless connection and an active wired connection). To resolve this: 1.Go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections.2.Right click the connection you would like to disable and select Disable.3.You will need to reboot the computer for the change to take effect.2.) The HOSTS file on the host computer is incorrect. Make sure that 127.0.0.1 is part of the HOSTS file. To do this: 1.Go to Start > Run and type in "C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" without the quotes.2.Open the hosts file with notepad.3.You will see a line towards the bottom of file that reads: "127.0.0.1 localhost".4.If this line does not exist, add the line to the file and save the document3.)
