The status is showing Setup. I tried using Filezilla to login, however both username and passwords are passed but it is telling me "530 https://www.godaddy.com/community/Building-and-Managing-a-Website/Filezilla-Access-530-Error/td-p/5562 User cannot log in, home directory inaccessible." On this post it is indicated that we can perform Privacy and Permission settings, but I don't see such settings on my portal. Welcome to GoDaddy Community! It's difficult to say for sure what's happening. The only thing I could say for sure that would cause this would be the login credentials being entered incorrectly or an issue with the hosting account itself. For the latter, you'll need to get in touch with our support team so they can take a look at

[7.5 FTP Server 2008 R2] Dec 12, 2009 03:49 PM|Instinct64|LINK This is the first time I have ever 530 user setup IIS, I have been extremely impressed on how easy it is to get going on the whole, however I have hit one problem I have gone to the furthest lengths to fix myself and I just cant work it out! The FTP service, despite following good guides on this website, refuses to work for me! No matter what I do with permissions (even allowing Anonymous Login) I get this error: 530 user cannot "Response: 530 User cannot log in, home directory inaccessible." Process Monitor Output: http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/8315/ftpissue.jpg I am just trying to get Basic Authentication working with Windows Users. I cannot make sense as to why there is no error. (Using IIS from within Windows 2008, not from iis.net) Any troubleshooting assistance is most appreciated! [7.5 FTP Server 2008 R2] Dec 13, 2009 01:54 AM|qbernard|LINK That will be IIS 6, are you using any ftp user isolation feature? The best way to trace this is still via filemon or procmon, this will shows where IIS is sending the user to. Don't filter the procmon first, i think you can look at where IIS is sending the user to.
