Can you look at the IIS Server logs and post the detailed error messages ? I suggest you install System Internals Process Monitor and use Steve's Guides http://www.iislogs.com/articles/processmonitorw3wp/Application Pools http://www.iislogs.com/steveschofield/detecting-permission-issues-using-auditing-and-process-monitorAuditing. Looks like more information is needed to fix the problems. Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0115' Discussion in 'Plesk for Windows - 8.x and Older' started by MrSmith, Aug 8, 2007. MrSmith Guest 0 Hey, A website that was working perfectly before updating to 8.2 is now throwing errors: Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0115' Unexpected error /index.asp A trappable error (C0000005) occurred in an external object. The script cannot continue running. Any ideas what the plesk update likely changed to cause this? -Rob MrSmith, Aug 8, 2007 #1 Bender Guest 0 Hi, Look into the following resource: http://classicasp.aspfaq.com/general/how-do-i-solve-asp-0115-errors.html Also probably that it is a permission issue and script can not use some dll. To track such type of issues use filemon utility from sysinternals: http://download.sysinternals.com/Files/Filemon.zip Bender, Aug 12, 2007 #2 MrSmith Guest 0 Resolved I think I found the problem. Part of the 8.1 to 8.2 update must have updated either the mysql client libraries or the mysql server itself. As far as I understand we were already on mysql 5 so it must have been a minor version update. Updating both MDAC to latest service pack, and then getting the latest MyODBC 3.51 seems to have cleared the problem. -Rob MrSmith, Aug 13, 2007 #3 Manojb Guest 0 Hi Rob, I am facing the same problem after plesk upgrade, can you please let me know the exact solution for this. Manojb, Jan 26, 2008 #4 MrSmith Guest 0 There is no exact solution... The problem can be caused by a few different scenarios. For me, the solution was simple. Grab a copy of the new MyODBC from http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/3.51.html, install it, reboot. I did at the same time use windows update to ensure that the MSDAC was up to date as well. -R MrSmith, Jan 27, 2008 #5 Manojb Guest 0 Thank your very much Smith ... Issue has been resolved.
