I recently re-installed windows http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-windows_programs/error-an-internal-system-error-occurred-please/66125389-7cc9-4cbb-9fc3-ce6b51adf087 and am now trying to install the DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010). All goes well, it installs everything, but as it finished I get this error: I have tried redownloading, using other installers and updating my graphics drivers. Nothing will work. It's probably worth mentioning that the first time I tried installing, about a week ago, my computer totally froze in the middle of the install and I had http://www.sevenforums.com/software/203092-directx-install-error-internal-system-error-occurred.html to force restart. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? The 1st thing I would suggest would be to run the System Files Checker. SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker See if it finds and corrects any errors. Also, see if you locate the 2 dx logs mentioned, in the windows directory, and post them here, or just the text if they are short, which they may well be. Setup Error: "An internal system error has occured." Discussion in 'Software' started by techtitan, Aug 22, 2012. techtitan Private First Class I'm trying to install a game that says I need to update http://forums.majorgeeks.com/index.php?threads/directx-setup-error-an-internal-system-error-has-occured.264612/ my DirectX Libraries (or something of that nature). It gives me a link that directs me to this Microsoft page where I download DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer for 9.0c http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35 When I download it to the http://forums.firefall.com/community/threads/cannot-install-the-game-due-to-a-directx-error.50371/ root of my C and run it as an Admin, I get a message stating "An internal system error has occurred" and to refer to the DXError and DirectX Logs. As I assume you will need an internal them I have attached both logs for your review. Can anyone tell me what the problem is? I was under the assumption I was already running the most up-to-date Microsoft software (Windows 7 with a Microsoft update just ran about a week ago with a very current display driver on my GeForce 9500 GT). In the box type dxdiag and press Enter on your keyboard. What version does it say is installed? The MS page you linked to says this The DirectX End-User Runtimes installer contains all of the components installed by the Web Installer in a single package and is recommended for those users that do not have an Internet connection during installation.Click to expand... Seems strange to use an offline package. plodr, Aug 22, 2012 #2 techtitan Private First Class It's says DirectX Version: DirectX 11. This seems to contradict what the gaming is telling me when it says the libraries are out of date and then gives me a link to an outdated installer. Any idea what would cause it to not see my DX11? techtitan, Aug 23, 2012 #3 pwillener MajorGeek Obviously the problem lies with your game software, which may be a very old version. Try to obtain a newer version that can recognize DirectX 11. (Although DX11 should be backwards compatible with DX9.) pwillener, Aug 23, 2012 #4 plodr Major Geek Super Extraordinaire After looking around, I see Directx 11 will not work for a game that requires Directx 9.0c. I also discovered that is is possible

Cannot Install the Game due to a DirectX error Discussion in 'Technical Support' started by Emberwolf06, Aug 17, 2012. Emberwolf06 #1 I seem to be having an issue with the installer. After having downloaded the installer I run it and all seems well, until it tries downloading DirectX 9.0c redistributable. It gives me the usual prompt to install it, but I always end up getting this error: "An internal system error occured. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine the problem. " (picture of the error): imgur.com/YF89O After I follow the prompt and check my Windows folder, I find that I don't have a DXError.log file, but I do have the DirectX.log file. I read through that, and the most recent log update is this: "08/17/12 01:38:37: infinst: Target file: 'C:\Windows\system32\XAudio2_0.dll' Target file is Version 9.22.1284.0 Source file is Version 9.22.1284.0 08/17/12 01:38:37: infinst: Currently C:\Windows\system32\XAudio2_0.dll is newer than the one being installed." Does anyone have a solution to this or can tell me how to repair it? I've tried re-downloading the installer multiple times, restarting my computer, and tried updating my drivers. Please help!
