If anyone is interested in additional debuuging details, let me know what you need and how to get it (I am new to VPC and have more experience with qemu).Thanks.. This forum is meant for Windows Server virtualization in Windows Server 2008. Cheers, Ben Tuesday, November 13, 2007 11:32 AM Reply | Quote Owner 0 Sign in to vote MS-DOS 6.22. I will redirect the question to the VPC group. Thanks for the pointer. Tuesday, November 13, 2007 2:32 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Hi, I've installed VPC 2004 in a windows XP OS. I'm trying to use it with DOS 6.22. & older software now running on a 486 computer. When I executed the software the first time I got the message: not enought memory. I went from 128MBtes to 420MBtes & the new error message was "machine error 03". Any thoughts on this? Thanks for any help you may offer, Jerry Saturday, June 20, 2009 5:49 PM Reply | Quote 1 Sign in to vote Try making it smaller, not bigger! DOS originally used only 640K. It can't handle big address spaces. I would try 4M, not 420M. The beach ball cursor spun for half an hour and I had force quit Fusion 7. While trying to run the virtual machine again I get a generic "Internal Error" message.Already tried: an internal restarting my Mac, repairing the permissions, uninstalling/reinstalling Fusion 7, even trying repairing the main VMDK file (it is split and returned with no errors).Any suggestions? vmware.log.zip 50.0 K 5667Views Tags: none (add) fusionContent tagged with fusion, crashContent tagged with crash, errorContent tagged with error, mac_os_xContent tagged with mac_os_x, macContent tagged with mac, macbook_proContent tagged with macbook_pro, internalContent tagged with internal, windows7Content tagged with windows7, an internal virtual windows7_guestContent tagged with windows7_guest, yosemiteContent tagged with yosemite, fusion7.0Content tagged with fusion7.0 This content has been marked as final. Your log is from Fusion 7.0.0, and we're currently up to 7.1.1. The latest version in particular addresses a nasty problem with Shared Folders and OS X 10.10.2.Cheers,--Darius Like Show 0 Likes (0) Actions 3. The problem occurred quite some time after upgrading. Like Show 0 Likes (0) Actions 4.
