Are you using Outlook to connect to an Exchange server? Assuming the number of contacts an internal support function returned an error outlook 2013 in the distribution group hasn't exceeded Outlook's ability to use the DL (I think the number's somewhere around 130 - 140), you're probably get better answere if you asked your question in an Outlook forum. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP Marked as answer by Terence YuModerator Thursday, August 11, 2011 1:35 AM Wednesday, August 03, 2011 1:03 AM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Hi just add other possible. 1.The error message is usually when you have a duplicate of one-off contact in distribution list, so verify if there is one in the distribution list. If not then re-create the distribution list and check what happens. 2. Maybe a Distribution group has been recreated. Try to expand the distribution groups that are in the To/Cc/Bcc boxes. For those that you cannot expand: Delete the from the .nk2-file by starting to type the display name of the group in a To/Cc/Bcc field, set the focus on it when it appears in the drop down list and hitting the "Del" button. Then, type the display name of the distribution group once again and click the "Check Names" button. 3. You can open thread to outlook forum and post your version of outlook. http://social

Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd still be sufficiently protected by your an internal on-access scanner part of the virus scanner.
