have not jail broke this phone, it is mine out right and I have tried to restore it using a different machine and OS just case there was something wrong with the one I have, all this did not work.From what I can can make out the Software version 2.2 and the size of the unit (eg. 16GB) there was a problem downloading the software for the iphone an unknown error occurred (-39) is missing, but the serial number is still there on the menu.
