2k operational level, run by SBS 2003 (server). I've added another DC some time ago acting as a backup, this one is 2003 Standard R2.(server1). Obviosly SERVER holds all the FSMO roles. BOTH DCs are acting as GCs. There're no child domains. Everything seems to work and dcdiag doesnt' report any problems. However during the restarts SERVER takes a while the failure code from authentication protocol kerberos was the user's account has expired to restart (mostly waiting on the logon screen), SERVER1 reboots generally several minutes earlier. (server1 also has less services running, obviously no Exchange etc)then warning messages are logged as follows (on server1):The Security System detected an authentication error for the server LDAP/SERVER1. The failure code from authentication protocol Kerberos was "There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request. Funny enough, couple of minutes later on the SERVER:The Security System detected an authentication error for the server ldap/SERVER. See this:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824217 Can you run dcdiag /q and repadmin /replsum to check that the health of DC is good and post the log if error is reported. Hope this helpsBest Regards, Sandesh Dubey. MCSE|MCSA:

After a string of viruses on the client computers, the shared folder is no longer visible on the network. Exchange is working fine and hasn't had a single problem. None of the XP clients can browse the network anymore, and I cannot even search for the authentication error for server pc using the search feature in XP across the network. The XP clients and the server are now free of viruses and spyware.
