Guest I'm in a bit of a bind and I could really use some help. This morning, we rebooted one of the cluster nodes in our two node W2K3 cluster service not starting windows 2003 cluster. The first indication of a problem is that nothing failed over to
Cluster Service Cannot Be Started Error 2
the second node and then when the first node came back up, the cluster service failed to start with the message
Error 1067 The Process Terminated Unexpectedly Cluster Service 2003
"a required privilege is not held by the client". After restarting the second node's cluster service, it fails with the same error. I'm at a complete loss to explain why this is happening and how https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/871236 to fix it, so if anybody could provide some insight, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. dln, Sep 28, 2005 #1 Advertisements dln Guest Ok, my fault ... Make sure that the account is a member of the local administrators group on both nodes and that the domain account used for the cluster service is not locked or disabled. If you are really stuck you could try making the cluster service account a domain adminstrator just to get you runn
