contain security group id of application owner. Error ERR-7620 Could not determine workspace for application (). The application had been working fine and it puzzled me why the link wasn't working. A direct link to the application err-7620 could not determine workspace for application worked but when using an alias in the URL it failed. If I
Error Err-7620 Could Not Determine Workspace For Application (). Ora-01403: No Data Found
changed the alias the error went away ... but I didn't want to change the alias because it meant I would
Apex Could Not Determine Workspace For Application
have to find all the links that used it. Which sort of defeats the point of using an alias in the first place! The solution was to find out if any other applications
Error Err 7620 Could Not Determine Workspace For Application 4050
were using the same alias. So I ran the following query against the main APEX tables in my FLOWS schema : SELECT * FROM (SELECT COUNT(ALIAS) "COUNT",ALIAS FROM APEX_APPLICATIONS GROUP BY ALIAS) WHERE COUNT>1 ORDER BY COUNT DESC; This highlighted another application in a different workspace that was using the same application alias. An Oracle developer had cloned my application for development purposes and it ended up with error err-7620 could not determine workspace for application (4500). the same alias as the live application. Once I changed the alias in the copy my application links started working again! Previous Next → ApexLib Framework - How to Integrate Posted on December 22, 2006 by Patrick Wolf I thought it's time to put all the steps which are required to integrate the http://www.inside-oracle-apex.com/apexlib-framework-how-to-integrate/ ApexLib Framework from the different postings into one integrated instruction. Makes it much easier when you use the framework for the first time. Read the newest version of the How To Install document on the project homepage. Note: The above version shows the most current version of the document which may already contain steps for features which have not been released yet. When you integrate the Framework into your application, always could not use the version of the document which is provided in the zip-file! This entry was posted in ApexLib by Patrick Wolf. Error ERR-7621 Could not determine workspace for application (:) on application accept. Is this because of the size of the Paste operation? Patrick Wolf on January 29, 2007 at 10:17 said: Hi Niall, don't think that this message is related to ApexLib or the size of paste operation. Try to logout, close the browser and login again. Maybe try to create the region with a short text first - just to try and update it with the real text later. Hope that helpsPatrickPS: You can also send me an e-mail (see Profile), makes it easier and faster to communicate. One thing that I have noticed is that when I integrate the Framework into my application, I have trouble getting my onload processes to run. Any suggestions on why this may be happening? Thanks,Scott Patrick Wolf on February 22, 2007 at 13:30 said: Hi Scott, great that you like it! I think your problem is the "fault" of the jQuery framework which I use. The docu says something that onload shouldn't be used. I noticed that the onload attrib
