I added the created DLL plus all possible IKVM DLLs as references to my project, but when I run it, I get the following runtime error: System.IO.FileNotFoundException :

Could not load file or assembly 'core, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. I'm not really sure how to debug this error. Is there a way to know exactly which type is missing? From the description I'd guess this is the generated DLL (from the Java lib) but I have properly added it as reference. A missing .DLL won't throw a IOexception. More likely does the .DLL read some sort of file ( a config or something ) and it's missing. You should probably check the manual for this IKVM. –Ingó Vals Jan 5 '11 at 10:47 2 The "assembly" tag is for assembly language programming. I have deleted it, hope you don't mind. –Jester Jan 5 '11 at 15:39 Great idea, but I think you forg

Fix for ASP.NET "Could not load file or assembly App_Web…" Error Posted by Brendan Tompkins on November 15, 2006 Every so often on http://codebetter.com/brendantompkins/2006/11/15/fix-for-asp-net-could-not-load-file-or-assembly-app_web-error/ our production web servers, we get the "Could not load file or assembly App_Web…" error. There's a long thread over at ASP.NET about this issue, but I thought a simple post may help others http://www.codeproject.com/Questions/443798/Could-not-load-file-or-assembly-error running into this problem. I've found an quick and easy, albeit not ideal fix for this problem. There's supposedly a hotfix for this, but there are reports that this won't actually fix the could not error. Until a good long term fix comes around, here's a quick way to fix this problem. Delete all temporary ASP.NET files, by removing the folders under the following directory: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\ Your mileage may vary (win directory differences, etc) -Brendan About Brendan Tompkins Brendan runs CodeBetter.Com.
