When client is connected via cat 5 cable, printing works normally. Recently moved the client and installed USB Wireless Adapter. When attempting to print on wireless connection, receive error message "Could not verify the ID and password specified in Job Accounting. Set up printers on serverSet up two printers on the server. One will be used for color, the other http://pcnorb.blogspot.com/2009/06/canon-imagerunner-job-accounting-setup.html for B&W. I could print to it successfully from my old laptop using the drivers in "cndrvcups-common & cndrvcups-lisp4" (prepackaged RPMs were extremely difficult to find, some japanese website had then...) but now I have forgotten how to specify the settings for the job accounting. Previously the copier operated by punching in two four-digit numbers (id & password). Now there is some kind of card reader installed, and the card's id is sufficient for printing over the net. I think I had to manually add the id & pass for the copier to some configuration file as job options, but now I can't remember where and how. Is anyone else printing directly to a Canon from linux using printer-side security and where do you specify your "account information" in that case? I had it working very nicely under Fedora 5, but am having problems now. Originally I had installed the Codehost software (http://www.codehost.com/) which provides drivers for most Canon printers. Eventually, I had uninstalled it and simply extracted the appropriate PPD from the installer and used that to set up the printer with the system-config-printer gui utility (by importing the PPD). Unfortunately this doesn't work now. When
