I have an IBM TS3310 tape library with 2 drives. Our file store backup starts at 18:00 until approximately 01:00 the following morning but in the last week the job has been taking 10 hours + to complete and when I checked the problem report I see the following errors:Media Manager error 97, requested media id is in use, cannot process request, host = serverMedia Manager could not deassign media 0123L3, retaining it in Netbackup Database.Could not deassign media-id 0123L3, host server could not deassign media due to media manager error (177).I have checked the tape the previous day and it is not assigned or recorded in any of the netbackup databases so is effectively a new tape.Anyone have any ideas why Netbackup is trying to do this while the tape is in use?
