Junior Member I had a situation just now that requires 2 different versions of Oracle http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/20729/ to run 2 different applications. I received the "Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 127" error message when trying to run the app that requires oracle 10g. From reading this post, I was lead to the path statement for the computer that is found when right mouse button clicking on the my computer icon, going to "Properties" then the advanced tab and clicking on the "environment variables" button in Windows XP. I discovered that the oracle 8i path variable was before the oracle 10g path variable in the path statement. I switched them around and put the 10g first and resolved my problem. Thanks for the help! I have changed the PATH variables like described above, but it doesn´t work either. We have installed two driver versions: Version 9.2.0.8 and Version 10.2.0.3 Both Path variables are set. But the problem still exists. Has anybody the same problem or an idea what it is? That would help me a lot. Report message to a moderator Previous Topic: php with Oracle BFILE Next Topic: How to c

See this page for the feature pack. Locate the SQL Server 2008 Native Client section and download the msi for your platform.Install the msi and the message should no longer appear. You can verify the proper ODBC driver is installed by locating the SQL Server Native Client 10.0 in the Drivers tab of the ODBC Data Sources control panel. Please follow up if you have further problems.JayJay Kint MSFT Friday, September 18, 2009 5:33 PM Reply | Quote Moderator 0 Sign in to vote As mentioned in my configuration I've installed Microsoft SQL Server 2008's SQL Server Native ClientWhen I look in the Drivers tab of my ODBC Data Sources I find:SQL Server Native Client 10.0 Version: 2007.100.2531.00Any other suggestions?Roy Friday, September 18, 2009 5:57 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Please post your connection string options, and we’ll investigate further.
