I get both: Setupdd.sys could not be loaded. Error code 4. and The file I386\Ntkrnlmp.exe could not be loaded. The error code is 7. The first code pops up when i hit F6 to see if anything else was working. Then i tried to just let it load without touching anything and i got the second error message. I'm pretty sure its not my windows cd because its a legit copy, and i dont think its the hardrive either because this is the second one ive bought in hopes of replacing the old one, and neither worked. Hope this helps at all, thanks for responding. The steps listed don't seem like they apply to if you're doing a fresh install. Do you think it might work if i tried anyways? Reply Reply With Quote February 9th, 2007,01:23
