If I try to "open" an attachment, the download dialogue comes up and the progress bar begins to fill, then when it should be complete I get the message: "The download cannot be saved because an unknown error occurred Please Try Again." I can still save the files, but then I have to delete them (and that's just a hassle). Any help would be appreciated! Title says it all. However, I figured out what the problem was! It seems that it wasn't actually affecting all attachments, just *.pdf files (I didn't realize it since I typically only get pdf attachments). The problem was that my default pdf reader was set to a plug-in that wasn't working. I changed it and all is fine. It says "/Desktop/Downloads/szedppxr.ppt could not be saved, because an unknown error occurred". Then it tells me to "Try saving to a different location". That doesn't work. Tried to contact Apple but they're not willing to help unless you purchase the extend protection plan. I really don't want to do that since this seems to be a problem due to the upgrade. I already paid for the upgrade now I have to pay to fix the problem the upgrade caused! Could really use some help here. Thanks,Luis Apple iMac, Mac OS X (10.6) Posted on Sep 9, 2009 8:17 AM I have this question too This site contains user submitted content, comments and opinions and is for informational purposes only.
