I have always had to connect via usb in order to install the scanning software to be able to fax. But then I could be wrong in your case. Check out the documentation to make sure that scanning is available via wireless.. When I had XP HP had software that would be used for scanning,faxing,etc. Now with Vista could not complete you have "Windows Fax and Scan" .. when I try to scan from "Windows Fax and Scan" I get "Could not complete scan". Do I need to set up my printers all in one features someplace in Vista? Printing works fine. I just can not Fax,scan or import from my allinone 950xi.
