Jelmerholland Mar 6, 2010 5:37 AM "... user the'properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file"Hi,I've allready read a lot about this, but I can't finde the answer :SWhy can't I find it?I use Windows 7, all the fixes are for XP or MAC. Ctrl+Alt+Shift won't help. I get the properties menu, not the prompt that asks me to delete/reset some files.Does anyone know how I can solve this?== Since when do I get this message? ==Since 1hour, I pulled out 1gb RAM out of my pc, and inserted 2gb. Now I have 3gb RAM. And now I have the error. I restarted my pc for 4 times and I ran the program as admin. It works as long as I'm admin, but I don't want to be admin when I'm working with it because that could cause a lot of problems.I tried if other programs had the same problems but Adobe Fireworks works fine, InDesign and Illustrator works fine too. Please help!?Thanks in advance,Jelmer====Creative Suite 3 15241Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Bart Cross Mar 6, 2010 5:44 AM (in response to Jelmerholland) Ctrl+Alt+Shift won't help.First you have to click the icon to start Photoshop and then immediately hit 'Ctrl+Alt+Shift', you should position your fingers over those keys when you do so. Photoshop Elements I finally decided to upgrade from Photodeluxe Bus.Ed.1.0.....I'm running Wn98 2nd ed., with 544 mb RAM & 1.25 gigs free space on my "primary" host drive. When I try to load the program after installation, It hangs up and displays the error in my heading (right after the progress dialog on the splash screen scrolls "checking memory"). Is this problem related to any of the familiar glitches embedded in PDBE ?(of which I know you are familiar from haunting the PDBE forum)........ Daniel Kelly Guest July 21st,06:29 AM #2 Re: Could not initialize because of program error note to anyone upgrading from PDBE 1.0.....I wasn't able to get ELEMENTS to initialize after install, until I uninstalled "ADOBE TYPE Manager 4.0" , which was a component of The PDBE program bundle...This is a separate program, and did not uninstall as part of PDBE. Wasted a lot of time troubleshooting my system...Look for it in the program listing within the install/uninstall control panel utility(WN98) Daniel Kelly Guest « viewing pictures from CDs | color depth with Minolta dual scan III » Similar Threads PDF and program won't open; "Error in Acrord32" "This program has performed an illegal operation and By Thomas_Coil@adobeforums.com in forum Adobe Acrobat Windows Replies: 1 Last Post: May 17th, 02:14 PM FormsAuthentication.Initialize() error - NullReferenceException By Mike B. in forum ASP.NET Security Replies: 0 Last Post: September 15th, 08:30 PM "Could not initialize Photoshop because of a program error."
