Suddenly one of my laptops will not access the internet. I have a network connection and it's strong but no internet. The desktop and other laptop can access the internet just fine. The last thing I installed on the problem laptop was the Blackberry application. But the internet access worked after installation last week. I just lost internet access just a few days ago. I even tried uninstalling the Blackberry application but it still did not restore internet access. I ran diagnostic on the connection and here's what I got:HTTP, HTTPS, FTP connectivity warn FTP (Passive): Error 12029 connecting to ftp.microsoft.com: A connection with the server could not be established warn HTTP: Error 12029 connecting to www.microsoft.com: A connection with the server could not be established warn HTTPS: Error 12029 connecting to www.microsoft.com: A connection with the server could not be established warn FTP (Active): Error 12029 connecting to ftp.microsoft.com: A connection with the server could not be establish

Internet Explorer cannot display webpage (Error 12007) Started by Rspnc , Aug 07 2009 05:43 AM Please log in to reply #1 Rspnc Posted 07 August 2009 - 05:43 AM Rspnc Member Member 19 posts Having ridded my computer of malware/virus with the help of Perplexus, I finally managed to install MSIE 8.0, SP3, and the ability to download and install Windows Updates. However, after a few minutes of Internet inactivity, I lose connectivity and get the Windows Network Diagnostics Box which I have to go through to restore the internet connection--over and over again. The results are always the same with the last section reading as follows: HTTP, HTTPS, FTP Diagnostic HTTP, HTTPS, FTP connectivity warn HTTP: Error 12007 connecting to www.microsoft.com: The server name or address could not be resolved warn FTP (Passive): Error 12007 connecting to ftp.microsoft.com: The server name or address could not be resolved warn HTTPS: Error 12007 connecting to www.microsoft.com: The server name or address could not be resolved warn HTTP: Error 12007 connecting to www.hotmail.com: The server name or address could not be resolved warn HTTPS: Error 12007 connecting to www.passport.net: The server name or address could not be resolved warn FTP (Active): Error 12007 connecting to ftp.microsoft.com: The server name or address could not be resolved error Could not make an HTTP connection. error Could not make an HTTPS connection. error Could not make an FTP connection. IF I do not go through the Network Diagnostics to reestablish the connectivity, I cannot use another browser. Any help would be appreciated. 0 Advertisements #2 happyrock Posted 07 August 2009 - 06:27 AM happyrock Tech Moderator Retired Staff 9,285 posts try this...TCP/IP stack repair options for use with Windows XP with SP2.For these commands click on Start....
