For the benefit of all others who come here looking for answers, try this: 1. "Start", then "Run"2. Type "regedit" without the quotes, click "OK"3. Navigate to http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/t/19529678 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\HidServ\Parameters4. In the right pane, right-click in the blank area and select "New" and "Expandable String Value"5. Name the value "ServiceDll" without the quotes. Note: case sensitive without quotes6. Double-click the new entry and enter "%SystemRoot%\System32\hidserv.dll " without quotes as its value7. Click OK, and close the registry window I found this information here:http://wphilltech.blogspot.com/2008/07/dell-sk-8135-keyboard-volume-knob-not.html Like 0 Reply You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
