error -18500 HI all -I have an issue with a Mac user with Entourage 12.2.1 on OSX 10.6.1.
Error Code 19738
He is unable to retrieve email at all from an Exchange 2007 server, but was able to until ~2-3 weeks ago. Settings have not changed on the Mac at http://www.mac-forums.com/showthread.php?t=172311 all and there have been no changes to the configuration of the server. Searching on the web seems to indicate this is a frequent issue with 12.2.1, and that forcing a database rebuild at Entourage startup (holding Control) may resolve the problem temporarily, but this did not help in this case.Any suggestions? I exported the .olm from the macbookpro (running Entourage 2008) and copied it to the IMac and imported it (Entourage 2008). we later upgraded to Office 2011 and i switched the database over to Outlook 2011. now there seems to be could not a sync error and i get hundreds of these errors that say: Could not synchronize record: Email Title to Exchange server: AccountName followed by 1 of 2 different error codes: 19708 and 19760 Any idea of how to fix this? Please delete your outlook profile, and set it up again without importing anything (make sure you set it up as an exchange account.) Your mail contacts and calendars should sync with the server automatically. 0 Anaheim OP Dustin3699 Jul 6, 2011 at 12:44 UTC Thankyou for the quick reply however we have to keep the old email as this is our CEO's computer. Per the request of the CEO we had to import it so it's readily accessible, is there any specific utility or method to fix this issue without having to delete the outlook account as this would just cause an added headache to have to back everything up and re-import? 0 Tabasco OP KMolloy Jul 6, 2011 at 1:55 UTC Like Jon said, if you are using exchange, which it appears you are, there was no reason to export to an OLM to begin with. All of the emails/contacts/calendar etc are stored on the server. Delete/remake the account in outlook and set it up as an exchange account and all the data should sync up. If it does not all sync back, then that means either you are having authentication problems that need to be resolved OR you archived the items off the exhchange server, and would then have to reimport them. 0 Anaheim OP Dustin3699 Jul 6, 2011 at 2:05 UTC The account was originally
