You need to look at the QBSDKLOG.TXT file to determine a more accurate reason for the failure. Search Windows help for User Account Control could not find for instructions on doing this. If UAC is already set to max then reinstall QuickBooks. If reinstalling QuickBooks be sure you are running QuickBooks 2010 on Windows 7.
