Solved Run-time error 3170 Could not find installable ISAM Posted on 2010-10-08 MS Access 1 Verified Solution 8 Comments 2,334 Views Last Modified: 2013-11-28 I am running into an issue and cannot seem to find an answer on point. I have read the threads here and in a couple other places and nothing seems to address the issue I am having. I have an Access 2007 db that I am attempting to link a Sage MAS*200 table via ODBC. I have this exact same app working at another client using Access 2003 on an XP.SP3 workstation, but cannot for the life of me figure out what is different at this client that is causing this issue. My code is below. The debugger is pointing to the last line "dbs.TableDefs.Append tdf" as triggering this error. But I can compile the code and it doesn't kick any errors. I am running on an XP.SP3 machine with all the Access service packs applied. If I run with the basic '.Connect = "ODBC;DSN=SOTAMAS90;" I can manually enter the login (company, user id and password) and it links with no problem. It links the table in the db and I can run queries off of it. But when I attempt to use the silent login options, this is when it triggers this error. I really need this to run with the silent login, so this can run unattended. So making the manual login process permanent isn't an option. This makes no sense to me and I have already wasted a day trying to figure this out...hopefully someone can make heads or tails of this...thanks in advance for any and all help!!!! CODE FOLLOWS HERE: Private Sub Form_Open(Cancel As Integer) Dim dbs As Database Dim rst As Recordset Dim tdf As TableDef Dim qdf As QueryDef Dim strsql As String Const conObjectExists = 3012 Set dbs = CurrentDb If DoesTblExist("AP_Vendor") = True Then dbs.TableDefs.Delete "AP_Vendor" End If Set tdf = dbs.CreateTableDef("AP_Vendor") With tdf .Connect = "ODBC:DSN=SOTAMAS90;UID=bsk;PWD=0592;Directory=M:\MAS90;Prefix=M:\MAS90\SY\,M:\MAS90\==\;ViewDLL=M:\MAS90\HOME;Company=BMA;LogFile=\PVXODBC.LOG;CacheSize=4;DirtyReads=1;BurstMod
