I am facing issue while backing up one Virtual machine as it is regularly failing with error code 13. It does run for some time and that too with handsome throughput but again fails. 01/03/2013 06:06:13 - Error bpbrm (pid=4756) socket read failed, An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. (10054) 01/03/2013 06:06:13 - Error bpbrm (pid=4756) could not send server status message 01/03/2013 06:06:14 - Info bpbrm (pid=5348) child done, status 13 We have seen the Remove Snapshot command issued from Netbackup and then the Consolidate command issued by Netbackup. Since the Remove Snapshot completes, there is no need for the Consolidate command. It looks like the Consolidate may be issued by Netbackupas a precasution in case the Remove fails. It looks like a race condition, the Remove process may not be complete when the Consolidate command is issue. Anybody has bseen such error , is there any way to increase time delay b/w Remove and Consolidate commands. And i am getting issue with only one client . VMWARE backup type: SAN Using Vm host name.
