This Addon Could Not Be Installed Because It Appears To Be Corrupt
2 years ago Rzay Posted 4/1/14, 7:01 PM I am getting "error while downloading" while trying to this addon could not be installed because it has not been verified install add ons, after having reinstalled, the add ons page now appears very basic with broken images but the navigation bar(ADD-Ons, Extensions, Plugins etc.) is'nt affected. What firefox prevented this site from asking you to install software on your computer should I do?(And what is wrong?) Downloaded a clean copy of Firefox right from Mozilla and installed. I noticed right away unverified addon firefox that the initial Welcome screen and the Add on screen were odd looking. Could Not Be Verified For Use In Firefox And Has Been Disabled
customizing Firefox with Add Ons. I went to the Add on section and searched out what I was looking for. I clicked the install button and the download bar appeared and for a split second showed it starting to download. This is occurring for all Ad ons, anything I select gives me the same results. Things I have tried to attempt to fix this based on search results: I have uninstalled, deleted old download, downloaded new copy and then reinstalled Firefox. I have checked the system date and clock settings. I have tried this with the Windows Firewall on and off. Malware is not an issue. The machine has not done anything; it is brand new. Tried going to about:config and checking the xpinstall.enabled No such item is listed.
