How do I check if MYSQL server is not restarting please? –user2153717 Jun 4 '15 at 16:25 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote This happens when the MySQL server is overloaded, and so it stops responding. If you are on a shared hosting, then you should ask to be moved to a less crowded server. If you are on a VPS (with a fair use policy) or on a dedicated server, then you should enable and check the slow query log for the slow queries causing your MySQL server to crash. share|improve this answer answered Jun 4 '15 at 18:23 itoctopus 2,15641327 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google S
