Using the mirror tag in my global settings.xml doesn't affect it.Maven.configureResolver().withCentralRepo(false) is not enough. The following error is still present WARNING [org.jboss.shrinkwrap.resolver.impl.maven.logging.LogTransferListener] Failed downloading com/company/artifact/1.30.0-SNAPSHOT/maven-metadata.xml from http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/. Reason: org.sonatype.aether.transfer.MetadataTransferException: Could not transfer metadata com:company:artifact:1.30.0-SNAPSHOT/maven-metadata.xml from/to central (http://repo1.maven.org/maven2): Error transferring file: No route to host from http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/com/company/artifact/1.30.0-SNAPSHOT/maven-metadata.xml Maven.configureResolver().withMavenCentralRepo(false).loadPomFromFile("pom.xml").resolve(...) solves the issue for direct known dependencies. But f.e. in case of Drone it doesn't work. How can I create a global ShrinkWrap configuration (on the fly) to ignore central and only use my local nexus? java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to collect/resolve dependency tree for a resolution due to: Failed to collect dependencies at org.jboss.arquillian.extension:arquillian-phantom-binary:jar:linux-64:1.9.8, caused by: No route to host at org.jboss.arquillian.drone.impl.DroneInstanceCreator.createDroneInstance(DroneInstanceCreator.java:87) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:57) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:43) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:606) at org.jboss.arquillian.core.impl.ObserverImpl.invoke(ObserverImpl.java:94) a
