The object could not be Found. ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ QuanMarch 1, 200912 Share 0 0 This has been driving me crazy for a couple of weeks now so I wanted to blog the solution and hopefully help someone else that runs into this.
Where Is Frmcache.dat Located In Windows 7
A couple of weeks ago, I rebooted my machine, logged in and launched MS Outlook. From
The Form Required To View This Message Cannot Be Displayed Outlook 2013
that point on, every time I created a new email, replied to an email, create a meeting request, open a meeting request or one frmcache.dat file of other numerous tasks, I would get a prompt saying: "Could not install the custom actions. The object could not be found" I had no idea what that meant but assumed it had something to do with the Outlook https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2020427 install on my machine. I took a look at the setup logs and patches applied but couldn't figure out what was going on. Finally, after some more searching online, it looks like one of my caches got corrupted. To fix my problem, I had to search for frmcache.dat on my machine. Make sure you enable searching for hidden files. Once you find it, delete the file (or rename it to be safe) and then relaunch outlook. That solved https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/quanto/2009/03/01/microsoft-outlook-could-not-install-the-custom-actions-the-object-could-not-be-found/ my problem and no more prompts everytime I try to create a new email.

The object could not be found By mamies · 8 years ago could not install A few of our admin staff where greeted with a nasty little error on their outlook 2007 today. When someone tried to open emails or create new ones this error would generate. How i worked around it was i deleted the FORMS folder. It is located at C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\FORMS and contains the file FRMCACHE.DAT.This was on an XP machine so vista will be a little differant and i also had to unhide the system files to find it. Once it was deleted i restarted Outlook and it works again.
