The iPhone is not recognized and cannot be activated for service. iTunes was unable to verify your device. (see this page for further details) Here's How to Fix the iPhone Activation https://www.igeeksblog.com/how-to-fix-iphone-activation-errors/ Errors: 1. Wait The first time you see this error, it's better to wait. Chances are that the servers at Apple are truly busy or buggy which means the activation stuff isn't going through. You should wait for a few minutes before trying again. I'd also go as far as to remove the SIM from the tray and then re-inserting it onto the tray and then trying to go through the activation process again. 2. Restart Restarting your iPhone is going to be one of the simplest ways to try and fix the error. While it doesn't instantly guarantee that your activation will go through smoothly, there's a strong chance of that happening. You know how to restart: hold the power till the slider shows up and then slide it to turn off. And now, reboot your iPhone to try activating it again. 3. Lock/Unlock SIM Status In case nothing works, you should probably check to see if the problem is with the SIM-card / carrier. If you are trying to activate a different carrier on a locked iPhone (which hasn't been unlocked yet), you'll get the activation errors obviously. In these cases, you'll have to call the carrier directly and ask them to activate your iPhone+SIM card. Most of the time, the support executive will guide you through the activation pro

18, 2014] It's rare, but through no fault of your own, sometimes that shiny new iPhone stubbornly refuses to be activated. Should this unfortunate scenario ever happen to you, here's what you should do. There are four iPhone activation errors that display when something goes wrong during activation. The differences between them are almost irrelevant, because the solutions for all four is exactly the same. They are: "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable." "The iPhone is not recognized and cannot be activated for service." "iTunes was unable to verify your device." "The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported" It's irritating when you're itching to start swiping through your awesome new iPhone, but it's not the end of the world. There are a few different things you should try. First, restart the phone. Hold down the power button for several seconds. A red slider will appear that says "Slide to power off." Slide it, and wait about thirty seconds for your phone to completely shut down. Then hold down the power button again until the Apple logo shows on the screen. Now try the activate the phone again. This will fix the problem the majority of the time. If that doesn't do the trick, then maybe there's an issue with your cellular connection. To rule that out, you'll want to try connecting to the activation server in a different way. First, if you're not already connected via WiFi, find a WiFi hotspot and try the activation process there. If that doesn't work, physically connect the phone to your computer using the USB cord that came with it. Once it's connected, open iTunes. iTunes should detect the new iPhone and attempt to activate it for you on your computer. Last, if all else fails, you can restore the phone to its factory settings. Restoring this way is a much bigger deal if you've already got personal info saved on the phone, along with songs, videos, email, etc., because it erases every bit of that. But since you're just trying to activate your phone out-of-the-box, you don't have any of that saved data so it doesn't matter. To perform a factory settings restore, use your USB cord to connect the iPhone to your computer. Launch iTunes (if it doesn't launch itself). The iPhone will appear in iTunes; select
