Sqora32.dll Could Not Be Loaded
with respect to this error and have yet to be successful. We have several hundred PCs with Oracle Developer Suite 10g (9.0.4) installed and have recently met the following problem: A user cannot initiate the Oracle ODBC driver/connection. The procedure should be as follows: 1) open Access database, get external data, link tables 2) Scroll down thru file types and select ODBC odbc driver could not be loaded due to system error code 127 databases 3) Next select Machine Data Source, select oracle in OraClient10g_home1 This errors out without option to enter Data source name or selecting TNS Service name Error 1114 generated and no progress can be made. It is not possible for a user to create a new connection either. I have checked the system and it would appear a change instigated by updates/security patches etc has stopped it working. I have read around the subject by Googling and have performed the following actions - all have failed to restore the ODBC stuff Checked the envoronmental variable PATH against a newly built, fully patched and functioning system.... Installed Oracle ODBC drivers - this generates a different error 'The setup routines for Oracle Ora10105 ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 127' Re-installed MS Office - it was suggested that this may regenerate the ODBC drivers Replaced the following 3 dll's - mfc71.dll, msvcrt.dll and msvcr71.dll Removed Microsoft's October patches I have run out of ideas now and NO re-installing the DevSuite is NOT an option...... Has anyone actually resolved this issue

System error 1114: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed Windows 7 IT Pro > Windows 7 Miscellaneous Question 0 Sign in to vote I http://businessintelligence.ittoolbox.com/groups/technical-functional/brio-l/odbc-driver-cant-be-loaded-sqlstate-im003-system-error-127-help-please-695625 have an MS Access 2013 application that opens a connection to an Oracle database via an Oracle client. On occasion the application returns the following error could not when the ODBC connection is opened: Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 1114: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed. (Oracle in OraClient11g_home1, C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1\SQORA32.DLL). This is an intermittent problem that is reproducible on several workstations (all running Windows 7 x64 with 32-bit version of Office 2013 and 32-bit Oracle could not be client 11.2.0). Many times the ODBC connection is established without a problemOther times the connection can be established by closing then re-opening the application onceOther times closing the re-opening the application several times does not help The same application is being run on several workstations and not every user experience the problem at the same time. The problem may be chronic for one user whereas another user experiences no problem whatsoever. All of the posts I have seen concerning this issue are for a persistent problem opening a connection and not an intermittent one. I am at a loss of how to diagnose this problem and would appreciate some direction. I can’t report the issue to Oracle without having some kind of "support identifier" with them and have no idea
