a look at the setup logs and patches applied but couldn't figure out what was going on. Finally, after some more searching online, it looks like one of my caches got corrupted. To fix my problem, I had to search for frmcache.dat on my machine. Make sure you enable searching for hidden files. Once you find it, delete the file (or rename it to be safe) and then relaunch outlook. That solved my problem and no more prompts everytime I try to the custom form cannot be opened outlook 2010 create a new email.

The object could not be found By mamies · 8 years ago A few of our admin staff where greeted with a nasty little error on their outlook 2007 today.When someone tried to open emails or create could not install new ones this error would generate.How i worked around it was i deleted the FORMS folder. It is located at C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\FORMS and contains the file FRMCACHE.DAT.This was on an XP machine so vista will be a little differant and i also had to unhide the system files to find it. Once it was deleted i restarted Outlook and it works again.
