Can't find it, nor can I update from any of updates on this site. If the message says that an OEM version is installed, do you have Pervasive already installed? Check in the registry under HKLM\Software\Pervasive Software\Products. Do you have any entries? If so, post them. I think Peachtree uses a custom install so the patches from Pervasive may not work. 04-26-2012 11:39 AM In reply to InstallGuy Joined on 07-11-2007 Austin Posts 199 peachtree error installing Re: Installing v10 from Peachtree 2012 fails Reply Contact If you are getting the message below, it is used to detect a scenario where PSQL has been installed on the system previously using a custom installation not published by Pervasive. This would usually indicate an OEM installation that "bundled" specific/individual PSQL components from PSQL v9 or earlier rather than bundling the actual PSQL v9 or earlier installation package published by Pervasive. It indicates the prior "custom installation" was not properly removed from the system, leaving behind PSQL components (files and/or registry entries) that can interfer with the PSQL v10.0 and later installation packages published by Pervasive. All components remaining from the prior custom installation must be cleaned from the system prior to installing PSQL v10.0 or later. Since only the OEM knows which individual PSQL components were installed, you should contact the OEM to determine the best way to clean up the system. "29025: Setup has detected that PSQL components have been previously installed on the target system by a custom OEM/ISV installation, please contact your application provider for updates to these components." 04-26-2012 12:03 PM In reply to service@tahoetechgroup.com Joined on 04-26-2012 Posts 2 Re: Installing v10 from Peachtree 2012 fails Reply Contact Any places for me to look for prior compone

My O/S is Vista (Home Premium), I am unable to make the SmartPosting run, everytime I try to start the process within Peachtree it results in pop-up error message, which also states to the start process throgh the Windows Services Console. In Windows Services Console, Peachtree SmartPosting : status- starting, method - automatic. Even if I attempt to start the service manually it results in another pop-up message like "some services may be stopped when not in use.................". It never starts either automatically or manually, status remains "starting".
