Peachtree Pervasive Install Error

Peachtree by Sage 2009 & later, I encounter the error message, The installation of the Pervasive database has failed. Please contact Peachtree Technical Support for assistance. How do I correct this issue?

Can't find it, nor can I update from any of updates on this site. If the message says that an OEM version is installed, do you have Pervasive already installed? Check in the registry peachtree pervasive install under HKLM\Software\Pervasive Software\Products. Do you have any entries? If so, post them. This would usually indicate an OEM installation that "bundled" specific/individual PSQL components from PSQL v9 or earlier rather than bundling the actual PSQL v9 or earlier installation package published by Pervasive. It indicates the prior "custom installation" was not properly removed from the system, leaving behind PSQL components (files and/or registry entries) that can interfer with the PSQL v10.0 and later installation packages published by Pervasive. All components remaining from the prior custom installation must be cleaned from the system prior to installing PSQL v10.0 or later. Since only the OEM
