I got the error message "Could not complete your request because of a program error" when I attempted to save a file that I had edited (it should be noted that at the same time, I had 2 other similar files open that I had also edited for which the error message didn't pop up.) Photoshop Fix: Could not complete your request because of a program error from Yan Huang 2 years ago yanhuangme.com/my-videos/photoshop-fix-complete-request-program-error/ Did you encounter a "Could not complete your request because of a program error." pop up while you were trying to make changes or save a PSD in Adobe Photoshop? This is definitely a bug in Photoshop that is annoying and does not provide much to go off in terms of troubleshooting. While there could be many reasons for this error to occur, one of the common reasons is the PSD you are working with uses a different Type Engine than what your Photoshop is set to operate on. In order to resolve this problem so you can save to the PSD, you would go to Edit / Preferences / Type and change the Type Engine from East Asian to Middle Eastern and restart Photoshop.
