What else are you doing before getting a program error? https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1732831 And can you show us the PSErrorLog.txt file from your Photoshop preferences folder? Doesn't matter what I was doing before hand, whether it is creating a new document or a simple RGB to CMYK conversion. However https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/saving_error-10zk6h if I was to save to my desktop it is fine. 12 other computers (iMac 2.8Ghz Intel Core i5 with 4Gb running 10.6.8) arent having the same problems. Popup says "can't save file, "disk error"." File isn't crazy big -- 41.8 MB, just starting a project and doing a routine save. I repaired permissions as a start and still go the same response. Do I need to reboot because of a after repairing? But I'd lose the file...... My temporary work-around solution was to plug in my iPod and use it as an external drive -- file saved perfectly. I then dragged it from the iPod over to my desktop. Cool, no problem, and the file re-opened beautifully. I'm glad I didn't lose the file but something is wrong and I'm worried.... any suggestions? Do I need to reboot after repairing? Running 10.3.7, 30GB hard drive, 256 ram. Hard drive is pretty full, but 8 GB are still free. #1 Vic T, Mar 26, 2005 bobw uix_expand uix_collapse The Late: SuperMacMod Joined: Mar 29, 2001 Messages: 8,831 Likes Received: 6 Try deleting this file and restarting; User/Library/Preferences > com.apple.LaunchServices.plist #2 bobw, Mar 26, 2005 Vic T uix_expand uix_collapse Registered Joined: Jan 20, 2004 Messages: 11 Likes Received: 0 MANY thanks bobw -- that did it.
