That should work if when you change the admin password you also click the "change root password" check box in the web GUI. You'll run in to the same issue if you try to ssh in to the box. praecorloth, Apr 28, 2012 #2 (You must log in or sign up to reply here.) Folder Permissions? will1565 Posts: 9Members Plex Pass April 12 in FreeBSD Hello All So I've been searching filezilla authentication failed critical error could not connect to server round this forum and others to find information about installing agents into the Freenas version of Plex, but I can't seem to find any concrete info, I've found some https://forums.freenas.org/index.php?threads/unable-to-log-in-to-ftp.6887/ but I've run into more problem since trying them. So one thread said I need to put the .bundle folder here - /jails/plexmediaserver_1/var/db/plexdata\Plex\ Media\ Server/Plug-ins - Followed by a restart which did nothing Then another said I should put them here - ///usr/local/share/plexmediaserver/Resources/Plug-ins/ - Which looked more promising as I could see all the other agents in that https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/215375/adding-agents-to-freenas-folder-permissions folder but when trying to add an agent via ftp I get a critical error which I'm fairly sure is down to permissions. So my questions are this 1 - Where is the correct folder to add agents for Plex in Freenas? & 2 - How do I give myself permissions so I can ftp the data over to my server? Any help would be great Will. But on the other hand, https://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-79588-p-2.html if the information is available, it is more of a free choice for every user - most probably don't even know you could do that, but when they hear it's possible, they might want https://www.000webhost.com/forum/spanish-forum/18070-problema-al-conectar-ftp-password-correcta-da-error.html to have it that way. *Note - Use TLSRequired ON to force the use of TLS. OFF means that the use of TLS is optional. Is there any downside of forcing the use of TLS? critical error frodonSeptember 6th, 2006, 12:56 PMIs there any downside of forcing the use of TLS?You will only be able to login the server if you use a FTP client which support TLS/SSL, for example gFTP don't support it. If you wish to get quickly a FTP client which support SSL/TLS install the "fireftp" extention of firefox, you just need firefox for that (the OS you use is not important). whatalottaSeptember 6th, not connect to 2006, 06:19 PMHi Frodon, Thanks for the response. I will have a look at the link you posted and I will be able to figure out for myself how to set up the key without encryption. BTW, I have everything setup and working using the configuration parameters that you provide in the howto except for encryption. Works great! Thanks for the Howto! I tried using gproftpd and found it to be a little restrictive, so I went back to your howto. I found that the 503 error can be fixed simply by typing: passwd userftp and typing in the password desired when prompted after the user is created. Not sure why the command string provided does not work. I think that with the command string provided, the password is not being taken when the user is created, so that when people try to authorize, they get the 503 error because the passwords do not match. With respect to posting instructions for how to set up the certs and reboot without being asked for passwords, I think that this is completely up to you. My vote would obiously be yes, but clearly, my use of my system is different than a lot of other users. Is it wort
