have tried reinstalling, I have looked up solutions online and to no avail. I contacted battle.net support to be told to reinstall (didn't work), and then to ask in these forums which is what I'm doing now.My friend with the same OS (Windows 8.1) bought the game recently and has been able to play without problems. Is there any definitive solution to the problem? Also, are you fully patched to 1.13? If needed, I could send you my files, or you could find an ISO and mount the image for LoD. If you bought them from the battle.net shop, try logging into a public realm like East first before installing Annihilus at all and make sure it updates your Diablo II all of the way to 1.13d. After its fully up to date and you can sign on on normal servers, make a new folder and copy all of your Diablo II folder into it, then install Annihilus in that new folder. God help me. #1 Jul 8, 2008 LolygagerX LolygagerX View User Profile View Posts Send Message Zealot Join Date: 7/4/2008 Posts: 67 Member Details Ok... Here's the deal... The recent Diablo 3 announcement got me really into Diablo 2 again... So what I did is I went into my closet and dusted off the old game and started to install it on my diablo 2 computer (I have the Diablo 2 Regular and Diablo 2 : Lord of Destruction genuine cd's and CD-Keys, no copies or cracks here). So I went to my computer and successfully installed Diablo 2 Regular (Full Install) with the 3 CDs that came with the box (Install Disc, Play Disc and Cinematic's Disc). And after installing it I opened the game and got all of the updates to version 1.12 diablo 2 lod I think it was. So then I got off Diablo 2 regular and then I wanted to install the Expansion (Lord of Destruction = LoD). So I put in my Diablo 2 : LoD CD and it said "Upgrade to Diablo II : Lord of Destruction (800 MB)" And I clicked it and put in my CD key for LoD... Then afterwords it said "Please insert the Diablo 2 CD labelled "Play Disc"", So I did... And after about 2 minuets or less I could hear my CD Drive slow down and the little light on it would blink allot and then it said again... "Please insert the Diablo 2 CD labelled "Play Disc"". Now here is where I got a little confused and weirded out... So I looked at my other Diablo 2 Regular CD's and they weren't "Play Disc". Then I opened my CD drive and there it is... So I thought ("Hey why would it ask me for my play disc cd twice?"). I don't know why... But I have taken a screen shot of allot of my computer info and stuff in one. so you can check it out and tell me what you think and whether or not you can help me with this p
