C262144S Junior Member 09-14-2014 I updated graphics drivers(both stated that latest version was already installed), but I have no clue on how to update DirectX. +0 Comment below rating threshold, click here to show it. C262144S Junior Member 09-14-2014 Updated DirectX, but it stated that installation is not necessary, because newer or equivalent version is already installed. +0 Comment below rating threshold, click here to show it. Fobos531 Senior Member 09-14-2014 Try deleting game.cfg(located in ...\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config\). Also try installing .NET Framework 4 as well as repairing your client/reinstalling League of Legends. Regards, Fobos531 +0 Comment below rating threshold, click here to show it. C262144S Junior Member 09-15-2014 I reinstalled game and actually updated my graphics drivers(it appears that updating drivers from windows device manager does not yield any results(it states that newest drivers are already installed(this statement is false)), therefore I had to manually download and run installation files for newest drivers from GPU manufacturer website(http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx (http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx)(in case for NVIDIA GPU))). Problem solved! +0 Comment below rating threshold, click here to show it. Fobos531 Seni

Please help! Hi there, May I know what is your Windows OS? Kindly refer to the following solutions: Do download the latest DirectX at this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179113 Then, make sure you install both the 3.5 and 4.0 .NET Framwork. Download 3.5 from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downl...ils.aspx?id=21 Download 4.0 from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/downl....aspx?id=17851 If you turn on your Firewall or Anti-Virus when you are patching game, do turn them off temporarily and patch your game. ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ Website | Facebook | Contact Support | Help Yourself! | I'm Here! +0 03-13-201505:56 PM #4 graystripe View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message Member J

Windows 7: How to update a graphics card driver, Standard VGA Adapter 29 Dec 2014 #1 Hemphy Windows 7 Professional 32-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 1 posts How to update a graphics card driver, Standard VGA Adapter I was unable to play League of Legends when an error message showed up, "An unknown DirectX error has occurred and League of Legends cannot start. Please make sure your video card is using the latest video drivers from the manufacturer." I've tried downloading Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtime, but that did not work either. In an attempt to update my video drivers from amd, its auto detect method failed to recognize any of my (video) drivers. I had considered installing a driver manually, however i am afraid that may risk my laptop to function properly. Can anyone please find a compatible driver for me?
