(yeah right) Environment: Exchange Calendar Update Tool (ECUT) Win XP SP2 + Outlook 2003 setup with an Admin user account No Exchange Manager or other tools installed Backend server hosting mailboxes: Server03 Enterprise R2 / Exchange 03 SP2. I have 19 users out of the 250 odd users which get the following error message when running the bat file created by the ECUT. HrProcessInputFile:Processing Mailbox:/O=BAGLOBAL/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=JANGEL HrTestMailboxAccess:Unable Open mailbox - 0x8004011D. HrProcessInputFile:Error Processing Mailbox:/O=BAGLOBAL/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=JANGEL - 0x8004011D I have searched the forums for error 0x8004011D but only get exmerge related postings. Using my own account I was able to update the other 230 odd users, for some reason these 19 dont. I even setup oultook 2003 with the IT director's accoount (who has all rights) and even the domain administrator account but no luck. These users are in a particular child domain, but I rule out child domain issuse since we have 3 others and those worked fine.We do have 3stores, these 19 users are in a store called"NYStore", and we have two others:"First Storate Group" and"Critical" which users in these stores converted correctly. So can anyone shed some light on this situation? Thank you, ceez (dst patch hater) Post #: 1 Featured Links* RE: error 0x8004011D using MSExTmz.bat for DST change o... - 9.Mar.2007 8:14:23 PM kesm0724 Posts: 82 Joined: 19.Sep.2006 Status: offline Exchange SP2 applied? I received this error and corrected it by just creating a regular user named "dstupdate" gave this user Send As permissions and was able to run the update. Put that user in the local administrator group on the pc you're running the tool from. With this whole DST process having too many rights can be a show
logs, it really help. I did have a question tho. From reading the newsgroup. It seems after running the DST exchange tool the times for the calendar schedules are suppose to stay the same. But in my case it seems that the schedules are bing move up by one hour. Is that suppose to happen.?????? Top DST 2007 Tool: Unable Open Mailbox b?" 0x8004011D error by Rich Mathe » Fri, 09 Mar 2007 10:56:23 [ snip ] There wouldn't be much point in running the tool http://forums.msexchange.org/error_0x8004011D_using_MSExTmz%25bat_for_DST_change_on_mailboxes%25%25%25/m_1800434260/tm.htm if it didn't make any changes. That depends on whether the client is already using the correct time zone information. The times should be correct after runnint the tool and patching the clients. -- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP MS Exchange FAQ at http://www.yqcomputer.com/ Don't send mail to this address mailto: XXXX@XXXXX.COM Or to these, either: mailto: XXXX@XXXXX.COM mailto: XXXX@XXXXX.COM mailto: XXXX@XXXXX.COM http://www.yqcomputer.com/88_12134_1.htm Top 1.
